Study Skills & New Technology

About The Author

jay-willinghamHey, I’m Jay Willingham, the main writer behind CampusByte. In 2006 I had just been accepted into The University of Texas at Austin. Within the first few weeks of school, I withdrew from all of my classes because I didn’t understand why I was in college or what my goals were. I was lost and I needed a change in my life to put me on the right track. That change came when I got a Job working for Microsoft in their Xbox department. I worked 40 hour weeks, was paid very little, and never saw my friends. I applied many times for jobs higher up in the company, but was denied every time because I lacked a degree. This experience showed me just how important it is to get an education. After quitting my job, I was accepted back into The University of Texas at Austin and after four years of hard work, I’m on track to graduate this year.

I don’t claim to have all the answers, but what I do have is 6 years of experience in every type of situation you might find yourself in college. Because of this, I write about proven techniques that have helped me become a better student, make better grades, make more friends, enjoy college and graduate with a degree.

About CampusByte
